This quarantine in which we now live has forced everyone to stay away from the people we love and trust. Most of us stay in our homes as we wait for this virus to work its way past our community.
We all miss face-to-face social interactions. 
Some people are now socially distancing themselves outside their homes on nice days. They visit with neighbors they’ve known for years and meeting some neighbors for the first time. 

On these nice days, I like to drive around and hunt down friends (and meet some new people) as they socially distance themselves. I stop, talk and sometimes have a beer from the sidewalk and take a few photos of them from a distance.

These are a few of my discoveries from downtown Columbia and the people that live around town ….
